Process/Mechanical Engineering Resource Manager (2020-H-RM.MEP)

Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Process/Mechanical Engineering Resource Manager to join our Houston team.

Responsibilities:

  • Exemplary communication and leadership skills

  • Supervise and mentor discipline staff.

  • Overall technical responsibility for all discipline activities.

  • Overall responsibility for discipline QA/QC, including technical discipline audits as required.

  • Coordinates resource/staffing requirements with project teams, including participation in weekly internal staff meetings and weekly inter-office conference calls.

  • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring discipline personnel.

  • Responsible for interfacing with HR and addressing personnel issues including disciplinary action and termination where required.

  • Evaluates technical requirements on projects and supports proposal activities with internal engineering cost and AFE estimates.

  • Reviews project scoping documents, including design basis and deliverable registry.

  • Coordinates discipline-specific technical training and development, including mentoring and technical support.

  • Coordinates development of discipline-specific tools, standards, templates, etc.

  • Approves 3rd party applications used by discipline engineers.

  • Conducts performance evaluations on staff personnel.

  • Performs as Lead Engineer and/or Consulting Engineer on projects as required.

  • Approves time and expenses for discipline personnel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years experience

  • B.S. in Mechanical or Process Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

  • Solid facilities engineering background

Preferred:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Project Engineering experience
