Manager - Renewable Energies
Ben Foley has over 18 years of professional experience in offshore engineering. He has worked in every facet of the oil & gas industry from exploration to upstream production to refining. In the summer of 2009, he began working in the offshore wind industry and has devoted his time to this venture ever since.
Ben currently manages Keystone Engineering Inc.'s Renewable Energies group. He and his team have been working on projects in Europe and Asia while helping to promote the industry in the United States. They succeeded in getting the first of Keystone's "Inward Battered Guide Structure” (Twisted Jacket) foundation concept installed in the offshore wind industry in August of 2011. The foundation is supporting a met mast in the North Sea Hornsea Field and was the first structure of any kind to be installed in the UK Round 3 waters.
Ben’s team designed the first offshore wind farm support structures installed in the US at the Block Island Wind Farm in Rhode Island.
