Position Location: Houston, TX
Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an experienced I&E Designer to join our Houston team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists Project Manager, engineering, and project control with:
-
The preparation of drafting work scopes, man hour estimates, and schedules for proposals.

Establishing deliverable requirements during proposal stage or in early stages of a new project (e.g. prepare drawing list, field trip data gathering, and man hour estimates).

Establishing a drafting schedule during proposal stage or in early stages of a new project.

Planning the drafting efforts required for the project relative to timing, resource requirements, and interactions with all disciplines, as well as determining priorities.

Preparing Variation Order Requests for out of scope work for assigned project.

Possesses a very good understanding of the designs for any system within his/her discipline once design guidelines and system criteria have been established.

Maintains a copy of all project correspondence (Design Basis Manual, e-mails, meeting minutes, letters, transmittals, etc.).

Ensures a Job Data Book for his/her discipline is being kept updated for assigned project.

Informs designers and drafters within his/her discipline of the project schedule and required deliverables.

Provide daily guidance to designers and drafters within his/her discipline for assigned project.

Coordinates the preparation of detailed design drawings, within his/her discipline, required as project deliverables.

Reviews drawings within his/her discipline for assigned project on a regular basis for completeness, overall quality, and adherence to standards.

Monitors all drafting action items and deliverables for assigned project to ensure they are appropriately tracked and completed in a timely manner by the responsible parties.
REQUIREMENTS
-
20 + years of Drafting and Design experience

High School Diploma or GED
-
AutoCAD, Mid-stream, Oil & Gas experience
PREFERRED:

Associate's Degree in CAD
-
Experience with Database CARS Software
