Keystone welcomes Lloyd Arbo as a new Project Manager for the Metairie office. Lloyd will be responsible for managing projects for established Keystone clientele as well as developing and managing projects for new upstream (exploration and production), midstream (transportation and storage) and downstream (refining and processing) clients in the oil & gas and petrochemical markets.
Lloyd’s has gained a diverse background working in number of industries including oil and gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, food and pharmaceuticals. His leadership skills as president and general manager are complemented by his engineering, sales, estimating, manufacturing and quality control/assurance experience.
Lloyd has served in a broad number of capacities in his over 40 years of industry experience; project manager for the detail engineering and design of a $40MM four-pile offshore Gulf of Mexico oil and gas production platform, project director for the fabrication, erection and equipment setting of a 9,000-ton brewery in northern Georgia (6.9 million-barrel capacity), general manager of an ASME coded pressure vessel and API tank fabrication shop and lead structural engineer for the engineering and design of two deck extensions for a platform located offshore California; a North extension for the support of three water injection pumps, two seawater pumps, surge tank and associated piping and instrumentation and an East extension for the support of two VFD buildings.
Regarding his new assignment Lloyd shared, “In my short time at Keystone Engineering I’ve met many young, bright and enthusiastic coworkers whom I’m looking forward to working with and adding value however I can. My aspiration is to play a significant role in bringing success and growth to the company.”
Lloyd is a graduate of Tulane University with Bachelor and Master of Engineering degrees in civil engineering and a Master of Engineering degree in petroleum engineering. He is a licensed Civil Engineering PE in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota and Pennsylvania. Lloyd is married and has four grown children and six grandchildren whom he enjoys spending most of his time with. He is very involved with parish church where he is the president of the Holy Name Society, Lector and Eucharistic Minister.
