Standard Jacket FEED Study

Location

Nameplate Capacity

Keystone provided engineering services for the FEED analysis for a Taiwanese Offshore Wind Farm utilizing a standard four-pile jacket foundation/sub-structure concept for a selected Wind Turbine Generator (WTG). The WTG loads applied to the jacket were representative of an Alstom Haliade 1506 MW turbine. The analysis method using Bentley SACS included Eigenfrequency analysis, Ultimate Limit State (ULS) analysis, and Fatigue Limit State (FLS) analysis. Keystone’s scope of work included primary steel drawings for the standard jacket and Keystone’s patented Inward Battered Guide Structure, and preliminary design report. The design report included WTG loads, soil resistance, and liquefaction assumptions, material take-offs, and fabrication cost estimate.
