Approximately half of Keystone's projects are in the downstream refining sector. Keystone is adept at designing modifications to existing units, as well as tying in new units into the facility.
Multi-disciplined engineering design of 900HP pumps, large piping, diesel tanks, metering stations, and pumping stations. Keystone responsibility included detailed design, all electrical and instrumentation, as well as onsite construction support.
Keystone provided all engineering design, excluding the tanks themselves (i.e. pumps, piping, I&E, structural steel and concrete foundations) for the installation of two new tanks in a local refinery.
Tank Farm Upgrade & Expansion
Two-year, multi–disciplined effort to upgrade the ULSD storage and shipping system. Designed 900HP diesel pumps, large piping, metering stations and pumping stations. Designed a new 13.8kV, 5kV and 480V substation. Keystone responsibility included civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and programming. Also provided construction coordination and onsite support.
